6/76 to 5/83.  MARFAB, Santa Ana , CA .

            Project Engineer

            Designed and built a two-man submarine capable of diving to a depth of one-quarter mile.  Duties included all phases of development and manufacture.  Including analysis, design, mockup, manufacture, construction, and test.  Participated from initial concept to launch, checkout, and deployment.  Vehicle is currently being leased for geophysical surveys in the Pacific basin.  Designed and bread boarded an acoustic single sideband transceiver for voice communication between a submarine and mother ship.  Designed and built a low power acoustic beacon and surface direction finder for position determination of a submerged object.  Machine tool repair, including Numerical Controls, servo amps, and mechanical repairs of all types of machine tools.
